Kick off with an early start to Marley in the Mountains with a party to benefit the Sawtooth National Forest Avalanche Center. Slide show, music, dancing, free beer & more! December 12th at the 511 building in Ketchum.

On Saturday, December 12th, at the Pepper Party Place located in the 511 Building, we will offer education, music, dancing, free beer and even more mountain niceness.
Beginning at 8 pm, Andrew Mclean will present his Alaskan Family Values slideshow, a presentation showcasing his 14‐year quest to ski all three peaks in the Alaska Range family‐ Father Denali, Mother Sultana, and the wild child, Mount Hunter.
Following this presentation, our musical guest, Iron Monkey Soundsystem from Jackson, Wyoming will treat us to a musical show sure to get your bodies grooving well into the night.
This party will benefit the Sawtooth National Forest Avalanche Center; an organization that provides daily avalanche information for the Sawtooth National Forest.
The Avalanche Center, located in Ketchum, also provides avalanche education and other tools to help people make informed decisions in avalanche terrain. Their mission is to keep the backcountry recreationalists of South‐central Idaho alive. 100% of the party’s $10 cover charge will go to the Avalanche Center.
The Mountain Niceness Party will also serve as a prologue for the 2010 Marley in the Mountains Festival to be held February 26‐27. This year’s music festival, which celebrates Bob Marley’s birthday and spreads mountain niceness, will broaden its scope to extend beyond music, to include slide shows, lectures, and the “Up Down Get Down” randonee race to be held on Dollar Mountain.

In anticipation of a season we hope will be filled with good karma, deep snow, mellow tunes, and positive vibes, Mountain Niceness Productions is pleased to announce a kick‐off benefit party to start the season right.

So if you are ready to get down and get amped for this season’s Marley in the Mountains, be sure to join us Saturday, December 12th, 8 pm to 1 am at the Pepper Party Place in the 511 Building in Ketchum for the Mountain Niceness Party. In the true spirit of Bob Marley, everyone is positively welcome.
